Hello, I’m Chris M. Hayes. I’ve been around welding and fabrication since 2006, working with welding machines, tools, materials and a wide range of fabrication work. CMH Welding is where I share what I’ve learned along the way and offer welding and fabrication services.

I’ve spent most of my working life around welding and fabrication, and a lot of what I’ve learned didn’t come from a manual.
It came from using equipment that worked exactly as expected, and equipment that didn’t. From jobs that went smoothly and jobs that needed a second approach. From finding out which tools were worth having around and which ones ended up sitting in the corner.
That’s the perspective I bring to CMH Welding.
There’s More to Welding Than the Weld
The machine matters. The helmet matters. The grinder, torch, clamps and everything else around the work matter too. But so do the decisions you make before you start welding. CMH Welding is about the equipment, tools, projects and experience that come with doing the work.
